A line-up of five Iranian films are to vie at the 2017 Seattle International Film Festival in the US state of Washington.
Late Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami’s ‘Taste of Cherry’, ‘A Dragon Arrives’ directed by Mani Haghighi, Behnam Behzadi’s ‘Inversion’, ‘Gholam’ directed by Mitra Tabrizian and Farnoush Abedi’s animation ‘The Servant’ will be screened at the American festival, which will take place in the city of Seattle.
The longest cinematic event of the world, the Seattle International Film Festival believes in film's unique power to share original stories, diverse perspectives, and rich emotional journeys.
“Beginning in 1976 with the annual Seattle International Film Festival, expanding into SIFF Education, and most recently operating our year-round five-screen SIFF Cinema, we have provided experiences that bring people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world," the official website of the event wrote.
